Logic Client Case Study
In 2014 a well-known clinic came to Logic to solve a long-term IT problem which was impacting their business, their clients and their future sustainability.
The Situation
This clinic is a well-established and recognised health provider in their field. Their client focused attitude and dedication having earned them a loyal following in Western Australia.
The Issue
Logic recognised that the business growth was being stunted by end-of-life hardware and slow remote access to their second location. The impact of aging hardware meant in many cases, re-booting their system several times a day and both staff and patients were feeling the brunt. It was clear that it was ultimately impacting their outstanding service.
The Solution
In 2014 Logic was engaged to identify a solution that would provide the clinic an IT environment that was:
- Stable – free from inconsistent performance and unplanned downtime
- Scalable – as the business continued to grow and change, their IT environment must be flexible enough to adapt dynamically
- Secure – Given the sensitive nature of the data that the clinic holds, it was absolutely mandatory that any solution provided maximum certainty that there would be no risk to patient information or company data
After significant investigation Logic was able to propose a solution that provided for all three of these pre-requisites. Logic replaced most components of the network; migrated the entire environment to the Logic Business Cloud with minimal downtime and greatly reduced capital expenditure.
This clinic no longer requires an internal IT resource – any potential future problems will be immediately attended to by Logic, and Logic has a proactive upgrade and management process in place that will ensure that they can continue on their upward growth trajectory.
This well-established clinic has continued to operate on the Logic Business Cloud, Business Internet and Logic Managed IT Services, and soon will be adopting a new, scalable phone system. Additionally Logic continues to provide for all of their IT maintenance and strategic IT guidance.
