The Situation
This financial firm is a successful and fast-growing specialist in Perth. They are leaders in their industry and have some of Australia’s largest companies as their clients. With over 90 employees, they’re experienced, fast moving and innovative financiers who are supported by an equally experienced and dedicated administrative team.
The Issue
When the Logic team first investigated the network, it was evident that the organisation would soon outgrow its on-premise IT and telecommunications systems. This Perth firm had plans to implement two significant applications within their environment which would have further placed stress on the existing environment.
The Solution
In 2013 Logic was engaged to identify a solution that would provide an IT environment that was:
Stable – free from inconsistent performance and unplanned downtime
Scalable – as they grow and change, their IT environment must be flexible enough to adapt dynamically
Secure – Given the sensitive nature of the data that this firm holds, it was absolutely mandatory that any solution provided maximum certainty that there would be no risk to company data
After significant investigation, Logic was able to propose a solution that provided for all three of these pre-requisites. Logic has now replaced most components of the firm’s network, including installing a new, scalable phone system; migrating the entire environment to the Logic Business Cloud which enabled them to upgrade core line of business applications; and upgrading them to the Logic Premium Internet service. And all this with minimum capital expenditure – a bonus that will continue into the future.
The firm no longer requires an internal IT resource – any problems that might occur will be immediately attended to by Logic, and Logic has a proactive upgrade and management process in place that will ensure that they can continue on their upward growth trajectory.
Our client has operated on the Logic Business Cloud, Phone System and Logic Premium Internet for over two years, and they remain a very satisfied client. Additionally Logic continues to provide for all of their IT support, IT maintenance and strategic IT guidance.
